From 6 pm to 10 om, you can play and challenge friends and strangers alike using chessboards created by artist Jo Fish.
Jo Fish (1996) is a New York-based artist who graduated in Urban Design from the University of Michigan in 2019. Combining painting, collage, and drawing, she explores the human body through a visual language poised between figuration and semi-abstraction. Bodies are fragmented, stretched, and reconstructed alongside everyday objects, creating dynamic compositions influenced by athletic movement, Cubism and Surrealism.
