Primavera Silenziosa (Silent Spring) transforms the gallery into an immersive space exploring the intersection of science writing, storytelling, and speculative fiction, inspired by Rachel Carson’s poetic approach to science. The exhibition highlights Joan Jonas’s Double Lunar Dogs (1984), a prophetic video set in a forgotten space mission, alongside a curated library featuring works by Rachel Carson, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Donna Haraway. Irish artist Jesse Jones presents The Edge of the Sea, inscribed Atlantic oysters activated through a performance on divination, while Romana Londi’s Lullaby, To The Tick of Two Clocks and her Jet-Lag: Sentient series examine perception, memory, and the limits of human experience.
