We invite you to a Meme Reading Club with Damjanski! 30 participants. One circle. Each arrives with a meme on their phone. One by one, we show and tell — offering up these fragments of digital culture for collective reflection. We read them aloud, together. Interpretations overlap, clash, unravel.

Damjanski is an artist living in a browser. Concerned with themes of power, poetry and participation, he explores the concept of apps as artworks. His work has appeared internationally at the Centre Pompidou, ZKM Karlsruhe, and MAMM in Medellín. Currently Damjanski resides in New York.
